 I'm so excited. It has been a busy morning: I uploaded my story to Amazon and created my author page!

There's just the one story at the moment, but at the rate I am writing I should be able to publish about one per week. That's not as fast as I would like, but remember I still have my day job. I would like to increase my output, but I have my whole career (too soon to call it a career?) in front of me, so let's worry about that later.

I wrote about 1,500 words on the next story last night, and I'm hoping to finish it this weekend. I've already put together the cover art and I think it looks great. I will post it to the series page as soon as I have the story finished.

My First Story is Complete!

I finished formatting my first story last night. There are a couple of errors I noticed during the process, so I'm going to give it one last work-through tonight before I publish.

Today I'm going to work on figuring out how to may a separate page on this blog for the story info. I had planned on doing that for each story, but that may not be practical. We will see - this blog is a work in progress after all.

I also wanted to post a little bit about my goals, and this is my blog so there's nothing you can do to stop me. This first story came in at around 6,400 words. My output varies a lot because I have a day job, but in general I can write somewhere between 750 - 1,500 words per day. This is not a lot, but it's all I can squeeze out of the small amount of time I have set aside for my writing.

That being said, this means that I can produce only one short story per week, perhaps two if I can get a lot of writing done on the weekend. I'm going to shoot for two per week, and thus I am setting a goal of 100 stories in my first year.

Too lofty of a goal? We shall see.

Welcome to my new blog!

I have decided to enter the world of Erotic Fiction!

I am in the process of writing my first short story, which I plan to publish on Amazon. While I was getting that started I thought, I'm already writing so I might as well write a blog too. Surely someone out there will find this process interesting. This of course is the most important prerequisite for being an author: the assumption that anyone would care about anything you have to say. The arrogance!

 So stay tuned. My plan is to write one story per week, on average. I will post updates of my progress (word counts), and previews of my book covers. I will eventually have a page for each of my stories with summaries, key words, etc.
